When your job posting appears, instead of showing your contact information the following appears: "This Employer has chosen to remain private. You may contact this Employer via anonymous email by clicking here." The prospective Member (Job Seeker) completes an on-line form and the system sends you an email without revealing your information to the prospective buyer. |

I don't want my name, phone number or email address to appear on your site. What should I do? |

You can have all your personal information remain private. Update your personal privacy preferences from the My Account page. |

Do I have to register to create ads? |
|
Yes. You must be a registered user to create ads. |

Do you offer customized categories? |
|
Yes we do. Unlike a traditional job category a customized category can be created that uniquely represents your business such as Starbucks Jobs, Home Depot Jobs and Maureen's Kitchen Jobs. If your interested in a customized category go to our contact page and send us a message or email. Place the words Customized Category in the subject line. Place your contact information in the body of the email. We'll get in touch with you a.s.a.p.! |

How do I stop my job posting from running before the end of the posting period? |
|
From the My Account page, click on the Stop link to the left of the ad. Please note stopping you job posting from running will not impact the terms of your posting package. The job posting or job posting subscription period will expire based on the terms at purchase. |

How long do job posting run? |
|
The length of time the job posting runs varies based on the the posting product you've selected. |

I created an ad, but it does not show up in search results. Why? |
|
You need to run your ad. Go to My Account and click on Run Ad to the left of the ad you wish to run. Depending on your subscription you may be asked for your credit card information. Your ad will run as soon as your payment is processed. |

What region should I put my ad in? |
|
Select the region the posted job is located in. By default the region you specified on your profile when you registered, but you can change this at any time. |

What should I do if I don't see a job category that is a good match for the job I want to post? |
|
While we have created what we believe are broad and common job categories you may not see the category that best suits the job you would like to post. If you don't see the category, choose other or send us a suggestion to add the category to our list of categories. We will review your suggestion and if we feel it appropriate to add the category to our list of categories, we will! |

Will my ad be visible in other regions? |
|
Yes. All job postings are visible in all regions. Our system will, however, always show a job posting in the job’s region first, then ads from outside that region. |

What is a Featured Job? |

All Featured jobs appear the top of every job search conducted by job seekers. Featured jobs also are prominently displayed on the Employedbythehour.com homepage in a random sequence. Employers can add their website URL, links to their Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn Pages and photos to every Featured job. |

How Do Regions Work? |

All counties, townships and villages on Long Island are listed as a region. When you register or create ads, you select a region. When you browse ads, ads in your region will be shown first. When you search for ads, ads in your region will be shown first. |

I don't see my city listed. What region should I choose? |
|
Choose the county, township or village closest to you or the state you live in. As always you can send us your suggestion for a new region category. Your suggestion will be reviewed and if possible we will add it to our list of regions. |
